The Boston Bruins are on the brink of the NHL's Eastern Conference final, and they got there on the backs of their suddenly offensive defencemen and a potent fourth line of forwards.
They have outclassed the New York Rangers all over the ice in surging to a 3-0 lead in a series that could be over Thursday.
If the Bruins start firing on all cylinders, the Rangers will have little hope of even forcing a Game 5 let alone entertaining thoughts of matching the greatest comeback in sports.

The Spaniard was on stage with the rest of his Ryder Cup team-mates when he was light-heartedly asked by the evening’s host, American Steve Sands, if he would be inviting Woods — with whom Garcia has had a long-running feud — for dinner at next month’s US Open in Merion.
Garcia replied: ‘We’ll be having him round eve
